Maple Valley Elementary

Renton/Fairwood Area

Maple Valley Elementary, grades K-6, was established in 1963 as a cooperative endeavor of area churches. It has flourished over the years as an interdenominational school with an emphasis on serving families of Bible based Christian churches. Maple Valley Elementary became a part of Rainier Christian Schools in 1995.

School begins each morning at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Our dedicated teachers engage students to make learning relevant and enjoyable. Students while learn the fundamentals, think critically, solve problems and develop a deep understanding of how the Lord wonderfully knit them together.

Every Wednesday morning students and staff share in a time of glorifying God in song and sharing God’s Word with special speakers.

Maple Valley Elementary offers:

  • Academic achievement
  • Supportive and nurturing environment
  • Class size ratio of 16:1 or smaller
  • Music Program
  • Band and Strings (4th – 6th grades)
  • Physical Education
  • Maker Space--Coding, 3-D Printing, Robotics, Electrical Circuits, and Art (3rd-6th)
  • Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF). The PTF is an excellent opportunity for parents to get involved and support students and staff while getting to know the parent body as well.

Our staff is here because of God’s calling to serve at Rainier Christian Schools. The staff has devotions each morning prior to the beginning of school to specifically pray for students, parents and the day ahead of us; knowing that God expects us to train, educate and develop each student for the glory of God.
