In these trying times, it takes faith, hope, and love to be teachers. Because our job is not just educating students, it’s encouraging them...stretching them, helping them to achieve even when they might want to give up. At Rainier Christian Schools, we recognized the need to move to online schools within three days of the Stay at Home order by the governor. While other schools gave extended vacations, we signed out computers, text books, and other materials to help our kids continue to learn and be successful.
As 2019-2020 comes to a close, we continue to educate ourselves in the best practices for online learning, so that even when we return to “normal” we can integrate the knowledge we have gained into an even more well-rounded education for your children. When our vision states that RCS is a ministry of excellence that produces students of excellence, who serve God with excellence, this is what we mean.
From Makerspace to Music, Spelling to Science, Fractions to Field Trips, and now literally: our house to yours, we seek to be at the forefront of educational leadership as we exhibit the heart of teaching in all we do.
For our current students and families, we love you and thank you. For those who are seeking a safe place for their students to thrive in an environment of love and encouragement, please do not hesitate to schedule a visit.
